“Oh my god I love your shirt, where did you get it?” “Oh it was my mom’s from the 80’s!”  “Omg SO cute!  That is the ugliest effing shirt I’ve ever seen.”

If you haven’t seen Mean Girls and you don’t know who Regina George is, then I can’t help you.  But that quote was just so fitting.

So this denim/chambray shirt, whatever you want to call it, is LITERALLY my mom’s shirt from the 80’s or 90’s.  Thank God for mom’s and older sisters who lived through those decades and saved some of their wardrobes! I found it a few months ago and thought it really was SO cute! You can literally find a shirt like this in any store nowadays.  I paired it with these white denim shorts and these bamboo-type material loafers, both from Marshall’s.  My bag is Coach from a few seasons ago and I thought it went best with my outfit.  I kept accessories simple with my Marc by Marc Jacobs watch and my Lokai bracelet.
